Hobe Austro Hungarian Style Brooch with Bullet Cabochons
This is an exquisite vintage brooch that has characteristics of Czech jewelry or the designs of the Neiger Brothers. This piece is marked Hobe © in a cartouche that was first used in the late 1950s. The brooch features a collet-set circ. center blue cabochon flanked by red and blue tiny bullet-shape cabochons. Flanking the cabochons are enameled leaves and prong-set blue rhinestones. Hobe’s tag line (1952) “A new art in Feminine Adornment.”
