TERMS OF SALE

Welcome to The Jewelry Stylist. Sellers of fine vintage costume jewelry. From signed pieces to unsigned beauties, we provide a wonderful resource of vintage jewels for the collector. With over 1000 pieces in the collection, covering 110 years of fashion adornment.

Our goal is sell beautiful VINTAGE COSTUME JEWELRY. All items sold signed will have the mark as described in the details. We attempt to be as specific as possible regarding each piece. All items will be described accurately.

Items oversold

All of our items in our inventory are "one-of-a-kind." Some of those items are cross-posted on various selling platforms and may get sold out before we can adjust the inventory level on this website.  Please note there is a slight chance of an item being oversold. Should this situation occur,  the party to make the purchase first will be honored. Any subsequent sale of the same product will be refunded to the second buyer. We understand this is not ideal, and have yet to find a workaround. We appreciate your understanding and will do everything to make sure you find something in our inventory.

All Sales Final

All sales are final, and unless noted, all items have been previously owned and worn.

Shipping and Insurance

Items are shipped either Ground Advantage or Flat Rate Priority Mail.

. Ground Advantage Shipping is: $6.00 with tracking and insurance.
. Flat Rate Small Box is: $8.00 with tracking and insurance.
. Medium Flat Rate is: $15.00 with tracking and insurance.

If your order has multiple items that can be safely shipped together, we will refund you the difference (if the difference is more than $2.00) between what you were charged and our actual shipping costs (which include shipping, insurance, and signature services where applicable for seller and buyer protection).

Insurance is obtained through a third party and may require information from the purchaser should a claim arise. Should a refund be requested, shipping fees are non-refundable. For shipping on contract jobs, please refer to the signed contract for specific details.

International Shipping

We no longer ship internationally. Arrangements can be made to ship via an eBay purchase.

Returns

If you are dissatisfied with your purchase due to undisclosed condition issues,  you must contact us within 24 hours of delivery and make arrangements to ship the item back. All returned items must be returned insured,  with tracking and delivery confirmation, within 72 hours to obtain a refund. Additionally, items must be mailed in original packaging, including packing materials such as bubble wrap, baggies, and sachets, to ensure their protection during the return shipping. Returned items must be received in the original condition as they were sent to receive a refund.

If an item is received by the purchaser that was damaged in transit, the purchaser agrees to work with the local post office to help facilitate a refund from the USPS.

Payment

At The Jewelry Stylist, we use the convenience of PayPal to ensure prompt and secure financial transactions. Please refer to http://www.Paypal.com for terms and conditions. No items will be shipped until payment is complete. Tracking information will be emailed to the purchaser upon shipment. Your receipt will read  “Beautiful Profit" or Mark Lewis. We ship to verified addresses only and reserve the right to cancel any order should we suspect fraudulent activity.

Privacy

Your privacy is our concern. The Jewelry Stylist will not sell any of your personal information to third parties, nor disclose any of your purchases without your expressed written permission. We may blog about what's a hot trends we observe, but no names will be disclosed about specific purchases without written permission.

Confidentiality is extremely important to us. We have worked on dozens of editorials and know how important it is to keep all of the details under wraps until publication. You can count on The Jewelry Stylist to handle the details of your editorial in the most professional manner.

Order Processing Error

From time to time, we may send you notices of upcoming events, sales, or other interesting news. You may opt out of this at anytime. To opt out, please use the button below.

From time to time, a user may experience an order error on the screen which looks like the first image below. Most often, this is because there is a miscommunication with PayPal and the shopping cart to return to the checkout/order received page. Should you receive this notice, please log on to YOUR PayPal account to verify the charge. If you do not see a charge, please contact us regarding your order. To date, we have seen all payments completely process on the vendor side via PayPal despite the failure to return to the checkout/order received page. You will receive from us a confirmation notice when we have processed your shipping label.

UPDATE: The order error occurs with both Google Chrome and Microsoft Edge. Once an order is complete, these browsers fail to display the order confirmation. Please copy and paste the URL displayed on the page stating, “This site can’t be reach” (Chrome) or “Hmmm … Can’t reach this page” (Microsoft Edge) and put the URL into Firefox. Your order confirmation should display. We apologize for this error and have yet to come up with a workaround. This seems to be a known error that is unresolved.
