Magnetic earrings were popular from at least 1957 (possibly earlier) into the 1960s and later in the late 1970s. Coro was not the only manufacturer of these novelty earrings with a patent infringement case cited in 1957 by a gentleman named Henry B. Lederer against Rite Grade Corp.
