Huge Vintage Van S. Authentics Brooch
This is a vibrant green Van S. Authentics rhinestone brooch. The piece features a clear peridot-colored rhinestone measuring over 1 1/4″ across. The open-back stone is inverted and set in a quatrefoil setting. It’s quite striking, simple and yet very elegant. Pieces by Van S. Authentics are quite hard to come by. The company was founded by Reginald and Joanne Moonan. In 1966, Joanne Moonan became the designer for Castlecliff’s new “3-C” jewelry collection.
